Persons seeking this position must be highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to handle multiple tasks. Experience in the SAP/SAR security arena is highly desirable. Applicant selected will be subject to Government security investigation and must meet specific eligibility requirements for access to SCI and Special Access classified information. Consent to Counter-Intelligence polygraph required. Computer Science degree (BSCE/BSEE/BSCS) or a minimum of five years of equivalent security experience with classified DoD intelligence computer system security requirements. The selected individual will provide day-to-day security operation and maintenance of a Trusted Web Servers and Oracle Databases. Design, develop and implement Oracle database trusted web applications in (PL/SQL, PHP and JAVA) to accommodate a variety of user needs. Analyze and determine informational needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements and data output and reporting capabilities. Define logical attributes and interrelationships and designs data structures to accommodate database production, storage, maintenance and accessibility. Participate or execute tasks such as backup, recovery, testing and auditing to ensure the integrity of the system's data. Monitor key metrics in the systems to identify trends and analyze for problems. Participate in teams that study data problems, execute tradestudies, and then resolve identified problem(s). Applications are typically multi-level, security hardened instantiations that support national level Intelligence Community users Familiarity with Trusted Solaris is preferred. Familiarity with Sun Solaris software and Sun hardware is highly desired. Familiarity with general Unix OS functionality is essential. Familiarity with Oracle Label Secure, Apache Web Server, Data Vault and Data Guard a plus. Will perform work without appreciable direction. People skills are essential due to frequent interaction with end users/customers. Will periodically work in customer business spaces. Must be able to successfully pass a DoD required polygraph. Top Secret level US DoD security clearance is required. Must be able to travel 10% of the time. Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
