The primary objectives of the FasTrac Program are the provision of IT program management, oversight and organizational support, interactive training systems, and marketing services to NSA/CSS, other Federal Government partner organizations, as well as the U.S. military services with the intent to provide these Government agencies with a viable system to support and deliver on-line training to the agencies workforce.
Primary Responsibilities:
Under this effort, the contractor shall provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives for the FasTrac Program. This contract award will be a time and materials contract for the base year, plus two option years. The primary objective is to provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) with additional technical and product support necessary due to increasing workloads and in an effort to implement additional functionality of the SumTotal system.
The services provided will include, but not be limited to:
Working and partnering with current FasTrac SSA Learn technical support to maintain and troubleshoot the system and implement solutions as appropriate;
Technical and programming support for SumTotal and SSA employee data synchronization activities;
Technical assistance in implementing a Management Information (MI) solution to provide SSA reports on activity in SSA Learn;
Technical assistance in resolving any remaining Section 508 issues pertaining to the SumTotal system;
Assisting in implementing and maintaining the OPM Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) reporting process on behalf of SSA;
Performing updates and maintenance on the SSA Learn SkillSoft on-line course catalog;
Providing guidance, consultation and technical support regarding configuration and implementation of additional functions of the SumTotal system such as, but not limited to, classroom management and instructor-led training (ILT);
Responding to inquiries from SSA staff trying to perform System Administrator duties in SSA Learn.
Education Requirement:
BS in Computer Science or related field
Required Skill Sets:
5+ years of experience in the following:
1. Experience with SumTotal LMS.
2. Knowledge of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process.
3. Knowledge and experience with Software Development, web development, database development, and computer networks.
4. Experienced in XML, HTML, PERL, JAVASCRIPT, COLD FUSION, ASP, CRYSTAL REPORTS, FLASH, MS SQL Server or Oracle, and WINDOWS 9X/200X/XP/Vista.
5. Experience with MS Office.
